ResQ is committed to upholding the privacy and security of every motorist, rider, and passenger who relies on our IoT-driven emergency protection platform. This Privacy Policy details how telemetry data, geographical locations, and mobile account records are gathered, processed, and transmitted through the ResQ platform and the BDApps gateway.

By activating a ResQ device or subscribing via our mobile portal, you acknowledge the telemetry capture and automated emergency broadcast procedures described herein.

To provide immediate, automated crash assistance, ResQ collects only the technical information strictly necessary for accident verification and emergency response:

• Crash & Kinematic Telemetry: High-frequency acceleration vectors, angular velocity from the MPU6050 6-axis sensor, vehicle tilt angles, and G-force measurements.
• Real-Time Geolocation: Latitude, longitude, timestamp, and road corridor data locked by the hardware GPS module when a high-impact threshold is triggered.
• Account & Telecom Identifiers: Your registered Bangladeshi mobile number (e.g. Robi/Airtel), subscription verification tokens, and transaction reference IDs.
• Vehicle & Emergency Contacts: Vehicle registration plate, brand, model, and designated SOS emergency phone numbers entered into your dashboard.

The information collected by ResQ is utilized solely for life-saving and system operations:

• To cross-verify impact severity and roll-over angles using our algorithmic false-alarm filtering.
• To immediately broadcast crash location coordinates and vehicle metadata to National 999 dispatchers, nearby trauma centers, and designated family members.
• To maintain and verify your daily active subscription through the BDApps IoT billing gateway.
• To notify you via SMS regarding system diagnostics, sensor calibration, or subscription status changes.

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal data or sensor telemetry with third-party advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances. Data is disclosed only to:

• Emergency First Responders: National Emergency Services (999), Fire & Rescue, and authorized healthcare units in proximity to the incident.
• Your Designated Emergency Contacts: Sent instantly via automated SMS and cellular alert when a severe impact is confirmed.
• Telecom Infrastructure: Robi Axiata / BDApps gateway exclusively for delivery of USSD, OTP verification, and subscription renewal transactions.
• Legal & Regulatory Authorities: Only where strictly mandated by Bangladesh law or authorized law enforcement accident investigations.

Telemetry data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3 protocols between the ESP32 hardware, cellular transmission towers, and our central server. High-g sensor raw waveforms are retained only for a limited diagnostic window to verify crash dynamics and are automatically purged from active databases.

Your vehicle registration data and emergency contacts remain stored securely in your private profile until you choose to edit or delete them.

As a registered user, you retain complete authority over your ResQ profile:

• Update Contacts & Vehicles: You can modify or remove vehicles and emergency contact phone numbers in real time through the dashboard.
• Cancel Subscription: You may deactivate or unsubscribe at any time directly through the dashboard or via BDApps USSD menu without penalty.
• Account Deletion: You can request complete erasure of your profile and registered device linkages by reaching out to our support team.
