SERVICE AGREEMENT
Terms & Conditions
Please review these terms and conditions governing the activation, hardware operation, and connectivity
services provided by ResQ.
● Effective Date: September 2026
•
Version 2.4
By registering your mobile number, completing OTP authentication, activating the daily connectivity plan, or
mounting the ResQ IoT hardware in your vehicle, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not activate the hardware unit and should immediately
cancel your mobile subscription.
ResQ utilizes an integrated hardware-software architecture consisting of an MPU6050 6-axis
accelerometer/gyroscope, an ESP32 microcontroller, a high-sensitivity GPS module, and a GSM/4G cellular module
to monitor vehicle kinetics.
- Autonomous Crash Detection: The firmware algorithm cross-evaluates deceleration spikes,
tilt changes, and speed drops to verify high-impact collisions.
- Immediate Telemetry Broadcast: Upon confirmation, crash coordinates and vehicle
information are automatically dispatched to emergency responders and family.
- Connectivity Dependence: ResQ operates over public cellular networks (Robi, Airtel,
BDApps IoT Gateway). Message delivery and GPS locking depend on available satellite line-of-sight and
cellular tower signals.
Our pricing model is transparent and structured for continuous protection:
- Hardware Setup Fee: ৳2,000 (BDT) one-time charge covering the onboard microcontroller,
sensors, secure vehicle enclosure, and initial provisioning.
- Daily Service Fee: ৳2.78 (BDT) per day, inclusive of all VAT, Supplementary Duty (SD),
and Surcharge (SC), billed automatically through your Robi/Airtel mobile airtime via BDApps.
- Suspension on Insufficient Balance: If airtime balance is insufficient for daily billing
renewal, emergency notification services may enter grace or suspended mode until reloaded.
For accurate kinematic evaluation and rollover detection, users must observe the following installation
protocols:
- The sensor unit must be securely affixed to a rigid chassis or dashboard surface aligned with vehicle
travel vectors.
- Users must not expose the electronics to extreme moisture, fire, corrosive liquids, or unauthorized
electrical modifications.
- Physical damage caused by improper wiring, tampering, or unauthorized firmware reflashing voids hardware
support.
Important Calibration: Loose mounting or hanging wires can cause erratic sensor readings or
delayed impact recognition. Follow authorized installation instructions.
ResQ is designed as an automated aid to expedite emergency rescue when passengers are incapacitated or unable
to reach a phone. However:
- ResQ is not an insurance policy and cannot prevent vehicular accidents or physical injury.
- ResQ transmits alerts to public emergency services (e.g. National 999). Actual physical dispatch time and
medical triage depend on local emergency service availability and highway traffic conditions.
- Whenever occupants remain conscious and capable, they should independently call 999 or nearby authorities
without relying solely on automated broadcasts.
You can deactivate your ResQ subscription at any time without long-term commitments:
- Via the Home Dashboard by selecting "Unsubscribe" in the subscription panel.
- Via carrier USSD Menu or BDApps service deactivation codes.
- Upon unsubscription, automated emergency SMS and telemetry routing will be paused immediately.
These terms shall be interpreted, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the People's
Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising out of or related to the service shall be settled in the competent
courts of Bangladesh.
